These sunny hues are employed to catch the eye of customers from a distance. Yellow-green glass bricks are laid out in a maze, reflecting brightness into the space. Despite this, the transparent partitions create a sense of openness in the structure, offering hints of what lies beyond it. The ceiling was given the same grids as the glass, generating a synchronicity. These symmetrical merchandising spaces create an impression of the shop \u2013 the largest in the department store \u2013 extending infinitely. Curiosity employed a labyrinthian structure to alter the visitor&#8217;s perception of its size. Mirrors are added to further this effect. Yellow mosaic tiles and carpets are used on the floor, brightening a dark space. Dotted throughout M-i-d\u2019s store are soft chairs and bar stools of a similar hue.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><div class=\"container overflow-hidden customer-gutenberg-image mb-4 mb-lg-6 \" id=\"customer-gutenberg-block_3e99f3df83f9dd5f0adc0dcce2c02ee9\">\n\t<div class=\"row align-items-center justify-content-center\">\n\t\t<div class=\"col-12\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"customer-gutenberg-image-src d-none d-lg-block\" style=\"background-image: url(https:\/\/www.vmm.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/202310_MID_U_010-cover.jpg);\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-fluid d-block d-lg-none mb-5\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vmm.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/202310_MID_U_010-cover.jpg\">\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><div class=\"container customer-gutenberg-textblock \" id=\"customer-gutenberg-block_e9d0903bae671341aa6d2e51d77703af\">\n\t<div class=\"row\">\n\t\t<div class=\"col col-lg-7 offset-lg-2\">\n\t\t\t<p>With this project, Curiosity displays how using colour monochromatically and making experience-led design choices can transform a common department store area into a seemingly stand-alone retail space. Labyrinthian yellow stained glass and lighting encourage exploration of the seemingly endless aisles, increasing customer engagement. It\u2019s a hue that was also utilized in\u202fILO Living\u2019s retail space and showroom\u202fto bring warmth and highlight the relaxing nature of a minimalist colour scheme.
