Although originally from St. Petersburg, it\u2019s in Moscow, the country\u2019s most dynamic retail arena, where Traektoria has recently made its biggest retail statement. An existing retail space on the third floor of at Aviapark, a shopping centre in the city\u2019s suburban Khoroshovskiy neighbourhood and one of the city\u2019s largest, has been expanded and entirely redesigned by local architecture practice sinitsa buro. Now measuring no less than 300 sqm. In order to emphasise the inviting character of the design, softer and warmer lighting has been chosen, albeit very functional lighting at the same time, captured by light spots, skylights and light strips embedded in shelving units. The Traektoria store boasts an open configuration featuring various custom-made furnishings and fixtures, including sleek metal shelving and display units, and a sales counter and display tables crafted from Valchromat, a mass-coloured MDF, and featuring distinctive ribbed sides. The ceiling sees a fine mesh layer which adds to the coherence of the design.
