Obituary

With great consternation and deep sorrow, we bid farewell to our former Vice President, Mr. Hans Georg Schriever-Abeln, who passed away in Bremen on October 20, 2023, at the age of 91.

Hans Georg Schriever-Abeln pursued the training as a shop window designer at the department store chain Karstadt from 1950 to 1953 with determination and enthusiasm, and later, thanks to his passion for the profession, he achieved the position of Chief Decorator at Karstadt.

He was a passionate collector of pens. His collection even made it into the Guinness Book of World Records in the year 2000.

Our sincere condolences go to his wife and family. We will always keep Hans Georg Schriever-Abeln in honorable memory.
